It’s always wonderful to find that “sweet spot” where work and passion meet…but you have to pay attention to both! Remember, your work is not just your passion; it is also your business. What does that mean? Treat it like a business. Keep a set of books. Have a separate checking/banking account. Invoice for your work. Track your time (you really need to know how much it costs you to do your work or make your products). Create budgets. Price to the market; charge enough for your work that you can indeed make a living in your chosen field.
