Happy Friday everyone! We hope you’re all set to enjoy your weekend—but if you’re already looking forward to next week, we wanted to let you know about two exciting events.
Free Symposium at the PCC CLIMB Center
On Tuesday April 9th, Jackie will be presenting a FREE Better Smarter Richer symposium at the Portland Community College CLIMB Center for Advancement. This is a fabulous opportunity to learn about the seven principles, connect with like-minded solos…and get a great deal on Better, Smarter, Richer: Seven Business Principles for Solo and Creative Entrepreneurs (on the off-chance that you don’t already have it!) We hope you’ll join us from 6-9 p.m. at 1626 SE Water Ave. in Portland.
Women Entrepreneurs of Oregon
And THEN, on Wednesday the 10th, Jackie will be giving her famous “How to Charge What You’re Worth” presentation for the Women Entrepreneurs of Oregon Connect and Grow Networking Dinner. Many small businesses are not financially successful because they do not charge enough money. Small businesses are price-driven, not volume-driven, so they have to charge enough for their work. Participants will come away with an understanding of the facts of pricing, as well as various ways that pricing can be calculated, and will also learn how to approach the fear of raising prices. Enjoy time to network with like-minded business women and a “First Taste of Spring” menu with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Click here to get more information and register!
